Generations Physical Therapy

Generations Physical Therapy is owned and operated by the Tarr family.  The Tarr family has been involved in physical therapy since 1994 and boasts three physical therapists in the direct family, Dr. Eric Tarr PT OCS, Travis Tarr MPT, and Holly Tarr MPT.  The family heritage is apparent in all aspects of the Generations Physical Therapy experience.  When you visit a Generations facility we hope to make you feel at home, since it also our home.  The atmosphere is upbeat and enjoyable, even when you might expect the therapy to be uncomfortable.  As one our staff, Luke Huffman, put it, “The entertainment is free!”   We can be the coach and at times, the hero you need to move forward with your life.

Since physical therapy is our family’s legacy we strive to be leaders in our field.  For example in 2000, Dr. Tarr was one of the less than 1% of therapists in the country to obtain a Board Certification as an Orthopedic Specialist  before age 30.  Travis Tarr was voted Clinician of the Year by the University of Findlay’s Physical Therapy Program in 2009.  Dr. Sara Matics, who completed two Generations Physical Therapy internships, and then became a staff physical therapist with Generations was voted Clinician of the Year by Ohio State’s Physical Therapy Program in 2008.  The accolades go on and can be read on the About Us page.
